Despite a prime location between the Colosseum and Termini Station in the eastern Monti neighborhood, Trattoria Morgana has yet to catch on with tourist hordes. *breathes sigh of relief* This means you’ll get a fantastic meal in an authentic trattoria for a reasonable price.
What’s on the Menu?
Whether you’re looking for an old standard or a fresh spin on an Italian classic, Trattoria Morgana will have something to suit your appetite. Unsurprisingly, the highlight is pasta. All of the pasta is made in-house and is cooked to a superb al dente. Some of the classic Roman-style pasta dishes include fettuccine with meat sauce or with porcini mushrooms. If you’re craving a little Asian-inspiration, perhaps try the fettuccine with ginger cream. Lastly, for a culinary adventure, why not try pasta tossed with oil and black cuttlefish ink?

Besides Trattoria Morgana’s homemade pastas, they offer an extensive seafood selection like baccalà, octopus, clams and grilled sea bream. Trattoria Morgana also has a great meat selection including rabbit, beefsteak and a beef filet.
And don’t forget to save a little bit of room for dessert. Just a few delectable options include Tiramisù, panna cotta and crème caramel.
